Facilitation to nut out gnarly problems
I work as a Product Manager coordinating and managing the delivery of programmes to improve the productivity of New Zealand businesses. My work balances both data driven insights and collaborating with people to create offerings for customers. This empowers collaborators in the ecosystem to deliver great products that benefit New Zealand businesses.
Internally I work to facilitate solutions with Callaghan Innovation colleagues working through gnarly problems. In this internal role, I co-facilitated an online design sprint for the Ārohia Innovation Trailblazer grant team. In just three days they created a high level customer journey for the grant that had to be customer centric, adhere to our design principles, as well as meeting policy and operational requirements. The team worked through many insights distilling them into customer-centric solutions. Now that the seed grant has launched it’s clear how much work and smarts went into this.
If asked to describe “my why” I see it as empowering others to create beautiful things that benefit people.
