I work as a Business Innovation Advisor specialising in aerospace, marine and defence industries. My background working for the Royal Navy on aircraft carriers has maintained my interest in marine, composite materials and aerospace engineering.
Guiding a customer through all the stages required to bring a product to market is my core skill. It begins with defining objectives, setting the strategy and finally the operational plans. Propspeed used this process to scientifically prove that their marine antifouling coating used less fuel than competitor products. They are now selling globally from a dominant market position.
I enjoy being a key instigator and enabler for Callaghan’s support of Team New Zealand because I’m motivated by the thought of helping others progress in the field of science. My reputation as a person who gets things done means I take my motto as ‘undefeated since support commenced’.
