Leader in Mechatronics for AgTech

I am an expert in mechatronics working within Callaghan Innovation’s Applied Technologies group. My background in engineering and manufacturing systems makes me a valued advisor helping emerging technology startups. I use my skills to enable tech entrepreneurs to develop their ideas and accelerate their journey to market.

I know the agricultural technology sector well and have designed cooperative robotic systems for growers to use during harvest. My startup, YieldTec, uses robots to streamline kiwifruit picking. This led to my appointment by Callaghan Innovation as an emerging innovator.

My approach to my work is motivated by Nelson Mandela’s world view of looking towards a bright future and letting go of the past because that is exactly how technologies have evolved.
