Tauranga's "next steps" supremo

I work as a Navigator guiding Tauranga and Bay of Plenty entrepreneurs through Callaghan Innovations range of support services and products. I describe myself as a people-focused growth specialist. My background is in AgriTech where I have ten years of business growth consulting experience.

When working with customers my ‘super power’ is that I’m good at working out the next steps. This helps a project team understand the direction of travel and the project managers to anticipate future needs and roadblocks. It was particularly useful when I was the National Animal ID tracing scheme project lead. The outcomes of that project still make me proud today.

Change in itself is a cost to any business and I’m mindful of this when discussing new projects.  However, improvement is change for the better but fewer than 10% of businesses measure the changes that they undertake. Anyone can see the benefits of knowing what you’ve achieved yet it’s a conundrum why they don’t do it.
