Solving problems that impact many

I have worked at Callaghan Innovation since 2020, and I manage our Startup and Founder Support programme. Having both been part of an incubator founder cohort and run startup support programmes, I have seen the effectiveness of incubators and accelerators from various sides of the table. I'm passionate about startups and about improving their access to startup support.

After my incubator experience I completed a PhD on how incubators influence the strategies of startups, and how they can be more effective. I then created and delivered the Masters of Innovation and Commercialisation at Victoria University.

Startups represent only a small portion of new businesses that are created. In order to be called a startup a business must have the potential to be scalable and achieve high growth. I love the challenge of solving problems and creating solutions that benefit many in the startup ecosystem.
