Chemical analysis supporting advanced materials science

I work as the Materials Science Technician in the Applied Technologies team specialising in Advanced Engineering and Materials. This uses my expertise in particle size analysis, chemical analysis, and cellulose polymers to contribute to innovative research projects.

During my masters degree in Chemistry from the Ferrier Research Institute, I studied the development of cellulose encapsulated agrichemical formulations. This experience equipped me with a deep understanding of materials and their applications, instilling a strong foundation in the field of materials science.

In my previous role as a QC Chemistry Technician at MSD Animal Health, I had the privilege of running a Quality Control chemistry lab. This valuable experience honed my skills in various analytical techniques, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintaining high standards of quality control.

At Callaghan Innovation, our dynamic team constantly seeks to push the boundaries of materials science.
