Charissa Snijders, Architect
Charissa Snijders is an award-winning, Living Building Petal certified, Registered Architect who is committed to being part of the necessary transformation within the construction industry towards regenerative architecture.

Dwayne Carroll
Project Lead, Aliaxis
Dwayne Carroll is Recycling Project Lead for Marley and the other Aliaxis businesses in New Zealand. He has been in the building and construction supplies industry for over 20 years, just before COVID he made the choice to switch to a career focused on sustainability. Along with others he played a role in putting together the “Closing the Loop on PVC and HDPE Waste Project”, one of the first and largest projects to be funded by the Ministry for Environment’s Plastics Innovation Fund, a project that involves Aliaxis, Waste Management New Zealand, and Unitec Te Pukenga’s Environmental Solutions Research Centre. This project will deliver a step change in our industry’s capability to divert these plastics and landfill and put them into a circular economy. In his spare time, he is slowly turning his urban backyard into a food forest.

Sustainability Manager, Mitre 10
Julie has 20 years’ experience in Health & Safety, Sustainability, working in manufacturing, B2B, and now the retail & trade sector through her work with Mitre 10. Julie is driving awareness and initiatives that reduce and improve resource efficiency, promote social responsibility, and elevate sustainability in the supply chain.
