As part of the Agritech Industry Transformation Plan (ITP), Callaghan Innovation and Bragato Research Institute are holding an in-person Winegrower Innovation Discovery Workshop in Marlborough.
The aim of the workshop is to understand how we can provide growers with exposure to relevant technology solutions, identify opportunities for collaboration on grower problem statements and provide support for regional talent attraction and retention initiatives to support technology in the vineyard.
There are three key themes to this workshop:
- Technology Demonstration and Adoption - how to build greater connectivity, share learnings and find clearer commercial pathways to accelerate technology adoption
- Grower Group Problems - understanding what the significant problems are, identifying shared problems and the appetite for solving these collectively or individually
- Talent Development and Gaps - developing talent pathways to meet the current and future technology needs of industry.
