Following the NZ delegation to Forbes Agtech USA in June and workshops in Auckland and Tauranga, we want you to be part of a national conversation about Robotics and Automation in Horticulture and how we can grow the opportunities for our agriculture and agritech industries. The workshop will look at how we can:
COLLABORATE – Build greater national and international collaboration opportunities between research, industry and growers. How can we get better “bang for our buck”?
CONNECT – Development of national and international partners so we can better connect capability and capital.
DEVELOP and SCALE – Develop the best technology solutions, and clear pathways to scale these globally. Develop the right skills needed to support the industry of the future.
INNOVATE – Be seen as a global leader for the technology solutions and a place where the rest of the world can see innovation in action as well as come to innovate.
SUPPORT – Support, enable and connect initiatives across government and industry.
TOUR
Following lunch, at 1pm, you will be hosted on a coach tour by Turners & Growers. On this tour you’ll be looking at new planting systems and growing technologies in Hawkes Bay.
The last stop on the tour is networking drinks at 5pm at Three Wise Birds Cidery. You will be dropped back at the Hawke’s Bay Business Hub by 6.30pm.
Catering includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and networking nibbles. You will need to cover the cost of your own drinks at Three Wise Birds Cidery.
