Lipid scientist

I graduated from the chemical department of the Far-Eastern State University (Russia), before joining the top Russian lipid research laboratory at the Institute of Marine Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladivostok.

In 2003 I left my position as Deputy Director (Research) of the Institute of Marine Biology to join Industrial Research Limited (now Callaghan Innovation) in Wellington tasked with creating a research team in the area of advanced lipid analysis. That team is now highly valued by New Zealand companies that employ Callaghan Innovation advanced lipid analytical services.
