Helping kiwis to fly with Cleantech scale-ups
I’m a Business Innovation Advisor and the NZ Cleantech Mission Lead based in Auckland. My skills across strategy and international market entry mean I work mainly with early stage and scaling-up customers in frontier tech who need venture strategy and business design.
I have worked as shareholder and General Manager in a disruptive technology business, taking it from infancy through scale up to a full exit before joining Callaghan Innovation. This hands-on experience, and the associated battle scars, makes me valuable helping other founders and innovators on their journey.
While at Callaghan Innovation, I have a couple of cohorts offshore, including the Cleantech Trek to Singapore which enabled a dozen local firms to pitch to international investors and corporates face to face. This event has kick-started interest in the New Zealand innovation ecosystem from investors who had never previously looked to us as the source of new technology opportunities. I’m passionate about building a strong and vibrant cleantech community.
