Pip Law

Pip believes in empowering businesses to make IP decisions themselves, providing the knowledge and support to make this happen.  We help build IP capability within your business, working with you to get to know your IP issues and helping you make the best decisions for your business.

IP can be seen as hard, let us untangle the complicated to help you identify the threads of value.  Pip has the background, expertise, and experience to help all businesses at any stage to build their intangible asset capability.

Our storytelling-based methodology and interactive workshops keeps participants engaged. This ensures comprehension of complicated concepts that are aligned with business relevance. Working to equip businesses to understand and identify their intangible assets and risks.  Building their confidence and capability to ask the right questions so they are empowered to make business-driven decisions.

How we do it?

It begins with understanding your goals and tailoring our approach to deliver practical, results-oriented next steps.  Treating your business like our own – meaning we’re not afraid to share our opinions and tell you what we would do in your shoes.  We avoid the barriers of jargon and legalese instead breaking down the issues in simple, accessible language – and check that you understand before we move on.

The programme is split into two phases - strategic and tactical - and includes IP experts from Pip who will work closely with you throughout the programme.

In the strategic phase, you'll attend a full-day workshop that covers basic IP and IA concepts, aligning business, R&D, and IP strategies, and developing a strategic action plan. This phase is all about laying the groundwork for the rest of the programme, and our experts will work with you to ensure you're on the right track.

In the tactical phase, you'll put your new knowledge and strategic action plan into action. Our experts will be on hand to help you implement your new IP strategy, stress-test it, manage IP searching and Freedom to Operate activities, work through IP and business alignment, review IP contracts, and more.
