Advanced mechatronics for industrial applications

I work as a Principal Research Scientist specialising in Advanced Mechatronics where I use my background in robotics and automation to deliver innovative projects to New Zealand industry including health, meat, seafood, aluminium and forestry.

My main focus is on helping New Zealand companies thrive through innovation; my team leverages cutting-edge technologies to revolutionise industry and drive growth.

The wonderful thing about mechatronics is that it has applications in many fields, including robotics, automation, machine learning, cognitive robotics and machine vision. My in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience allow me to design and implement sophisticated systems that streamline processes and enhance productivity.

I actively engage in research activities and have published my work in reputable journals. My goal is to continue exploring new frontiers in advanced mechatronics and contribute to New Zealand's growth and development through groundbreaking technological solutions that industry needs to advance and thrive.
