Efficient and productive innovations for Industry 4.0
I am the Team Leader for the Advanced Mechatronics team where I work on manufacturing process optimisation and implementing innovations to drive efficiency and productivity. My expertise in Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is focused on consulting and assessments to gauge an organisation's readiness for Industry 4.0.
Before moving to New Zealand, I built my career in pre-series production at a renowned computer company, as the head of the R&D department in a medical devices company and managed special projects for a PCB manufacturer.
One of my guiding principles is that good decisions are born from experience, and experience is based on bad decisions. As Sir Paul Callaghan once said, “Every experience, whether positive or negative, contributes to our growth.”
What I find most fulfilling is receiving praise from customers for the exceptional work done by my team as client projects succeed after we've been involved. When a customer comes back a second time for more work, that’s validating.
