Underwater acoustics expert

I work as a Senior Scientist in the IoT and Data Communications group where my expertise is underwater acoustics, transducer design, characterisation, and prototyping.

Throughout my career, I have been involved in the development of cutting-edge technologies for underwater applications. One of my notable achievements includes spearheading the design and prototyping of advanced piezoelectric transducers used in sonar systems. By applying my expertise in transducer modelling, beamforming, and testing, I have been instrumental in enhancing the capabilities of underwater sensing and communication.

My fascination with underwater acoustics stems from its unique challenges and opportunities. Together with my talented colleagues we are poised to drive the future of IoT and data communications in the realm of underwater technologies
