Exclusive E Tipu 2021 Experiences
Attendees of E Tipu 2021 are invited to register for four exclusive Experiences, curated by Callaghan Innovation and ChristchurchNZ. These events will give a behind-the-scenes look at innovation in Canterbury’s food and fibre sector.
Each Experience will enable attendees to engage with business owners, learn more about the exciting innovation taking place around the Canterbury region, and get their hands dirty out in the field, where the real magic happens.
Seats for each E Tipu Experience are limited, and will be booked on a first come, first served basis.

Agritech in the Field: Vegetable Technology from Seed to Store

A one-day Callaghan Innovation interactive event for growers, agritech innovators, researchers and those interested in the horticulture sector and its value chain.
Through a series of site visits, attendees will experience first-hand demonstrations of the latest agritech innovations, including Midlands Seed’s competitive advantage in hybrid vegetable seed production, and Wyma Solutions’ tech to create efficiencies around vegetable post-harvest processing.
Plant & Food Research will showcase its latest project developments in digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence for automated plant analysis, hyperspectral imaging and analysis for plant disease detection and surveillance, and new concepts in insect pollination management and associated biodiversity, and artificial pollination.
