Callaghan Innovation warmly congratulates this year’s NZ Hi-Tech Awards finalists, including those in our sponsored category – Hi-Tech Kamupene Māori o te Tau – Māori Company of the Year Award.

With all of NZ currently at Alert Level 1, organisers of the prestigious awards were able to announce the finalists at in-person celebratory events in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. In 2020, finalists were announced via live stream due to COVID-19 event restrictions.

The NZ Hi-Tech Awards celebrate NZ ‘s most successful hi-tech businesses and highest-achieving individuals. All entrants offer solutions to pressing social and business needs.

Bruce Jarvis, Group Manager - Digital at Callaghan Innovation, says of the finalists: “The high calibre and diversity of finalists in this year’s awards reflects the strength of Kiwi entrepreneurs and their ability to develop innovative solutions to a range of problems.”

“This year we mark 10 years since Sir Paul Callaghan shared his vision of New Zealand as a place where innovators get more value from their ingenuity by combining science, innovation and commercialisation, for the benefit of all.

“I truly believe innovators such as these finalists would have brought him confidence that NZ is well on track to making that vision a reality.”
