About C-Prize 2017

C-Prize is s an incentivised technology competition to push the boundaries of what’s possible through technology. It was launched by Callaghan Innovation on 3 April.

In 2017, C-Prize is challenging New Zealand innovators and entrepreneurs to turn industries on their head by creating the next generation of wearable technology. To do this, entrants need to create a hardware-software wearable solution that captures and processes user data and communicates feedback allowing the user to act to enhance their outcome. The challenge has three tracks - Live Healthier, Work Safer and Play Smarter.

Up to 10 finalist teams will each be awarded a NZ$35,000 prize package, and the grand-prize winner will be awarded a NZ$100,000 prize package.
