Two forums being held in May will bring together a select group of angel investors and startup founders for an open dialogue about early stage investing.
Callaghan Innovation, the Angel Association of New Zealand and Lightning Lab are holding two forums in May (one in Auckland and one in Wellington) that will bring together a select group of angel investors and startup founders for an open dialogue about early stage investing. A panel of experienced founders, angels and startup attorneys will discuss questions submitted by attendees on funding issues, investment structures and market expectations. We will also open dialogue with all attendees to debate ways to best fund early stage companies in New Zealand for growth.
Callaghan Innovation wants to use the information shared in these forums to help set policy on funding for accelerators and incubators in the future. The Angel Association of New Zealand wants to share the information discussed in these forums with all angels in New Zealand. Lightning Lab wants to use the information from the forums to help set expectations for founders in current programmes and to inform future programming.
