Located at 69 Gracefield Road, Lower Hutt, GIQ offers convenient access to Wellington CBD, approximately a 25 minute drive in typical traffic.
Ample on-site parking is available, along with nearby street parking.
Active transport is also well supported with the new Te Ara Taupua shared path providing a safe cycling connection between Wellington and the Hutt Valley and supporting sustainable commuting options for staff.
Public transport takes approximately 45–60 minutes from Wellington CBD via the Metlink network.
A connected innovation community
GIQ is home to a diverse and established community of organisations, creating opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing and connection within New Zealand’s wider innovation ecosystem.
Current campus organisations include:
- Biotechnologies Group
- GlycoSyn
- Measurement Standards Laboratory of New Zealand (MSL)
- Ferrier Research Institute (Ferrier)
- Robinson Research Institute
Flexible spaces to support growth
With flexible laboratory, workshop, and office spaces, GIQ can support organisations at different stages of their journey, from early-stage ventures through to established enterprises.
Available spaces vary in size, condition and existing infrastructure and may be occupied on an as-is basis or adapted to meet specific operational requirements.
We are happy to work with prospective occupiers to understand their requirements and identify suitable accommodation solutions from across the campus.
