AbstractThis paper summarizes a comparison between two methods of building the voltage scale. The first one is the Reference Step Method developed at the Measurement Standards Laboratory of New Zealand. The second one is based on a binary potentiometer represented by the MI 8000/8001 instrument. Both methods were used to calibrate voltage ratios of a Fluke 5720A calibrator. Preliminary results showed good agreement except for one measured point. © 2012 IEEE.
