AbstractThe assignments of the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the 3-deoxyanthocyanins apigeninidin-5-glucoside and luteolinidin-5-glucoside, present in petals of the Gesneriad Sinningia cardinalis are presented. The resonances were assigned using ID (1H, 13C, 13C-DEPT) and 2D (DQF COSY, HSQC, HMBC) NMR techniques. Copyright © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
