On 6 September 2016, Callaghan Innovation invited proposals from organisations interested in delivering the next iteration of the High Performance Work Initiative (HPWI) programme.

HPWI is an innovation skills programme that assists New Zealand enterprises to grow their productivity, profitability and competitiveness through effective employee engagement and improved workplace practices.

Callaghan Innovation’s Business Innovation Programmes Manager, Sara McFall, says, ‘The next phase of this programme will have an increased focus on strategic aspects of innovation and business capability development. This will help make participating businesses more ‘innovation-ready’ by the time they complete the programme.’

Partners will be contracted to design and coordinate the delivery of HPWI programmes to groups of enterprises for a two-year period, with the option to renew the contract for a further  year.

A Request for Proposals (RFP) was released, and RFP documents were made available at the New Zealand Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS). The RFx ID is 17868021.
